To be autonomous a system must
It must not need brain surgery' (ie 'human intervention') to adjust to
new circumstances. We propose that it accomplish this goal by being
conversational
It must be able to tell a conversation partner that
the quality of their ideas are limited that he won't waste electricity
thinking about it.
(In particular, it can refuse to carry out a task you propose on the
ground that it is - too wierd, uninteresting, ... )
